INTERNATIONAL OPEN IMAGE COMPETITION 2004
The selected entries will be showcased in a 2 week exhibition at the
WATERLOO GALLERY, London, SE1 from 28th March until 10th April 2004.

This Competition is open to all areas of creative media to support the
promotion of talent within the fields of digital imaging, virtual reality,
web art, photography, installations, painting, sculpture & mixed media.
It provides a channel for a collective of thoughts, skills & ideas to be expressed,
explored, discovered & promoted. It is an opportunity for established professionals
and emerging talent to have their work appreciated by a mix of their industry peers
and the wider public at large.
The theme for this years competition is 'MY WORLD'
PRIZES sponsored by Roxio, Artists and Illustrators Magazine plus �500 of electrical vouchers.
Selectors panel include Roxio and Duncan Evans who has been an Editor on no fewer
than 10 National Magazines, he is also the Editor/Author of Classic Glamour Photography and
A Comprehensive Guide to Digital Portraits.
For each person that enters (IOI) 2004 by the deadline we will give them one
Ticket for the Children with Leukemia Grand Draw. 1st Prize �15,000 cash or a car
(We have to return all counterfoils to the charity by 23rd Jan 04 to be entered in the draw
we will not be accepting any entries after this date.)
The Waterloo Gallery is a Photolink Initative, and although originally intended
to be a showcase for young photographers, has evolved into a community gallery
close to the South Bank for all artists and groups, particularly those with a local emphasis,
and in so doing is bringing art and its appreciation to those sections of the surrounding community who may
be otherwise unable to access it. Photolink is a small charity based at Waterloo Action
Centre.
