The SEACAM Silver range of underwater camera housings is built to the highest standards and is complemented by an
extensive range of associated accessories. Together these form an underwater photographic system capable of
satisfying even the most demanding of professional underwater photographers.
SEACAM produce two types of housings within the SEACAM Silver range.
Newer film camera and digital camera housings are equipped with the newer positive Screw/bayonet Port system
developed by SEACAM. This is very efficient and seats the sealing 'O' ring very securely indeed. It would be extremely
difficult to displace this 'O' ring whilst attatching a port!
The housings built for some of the 'older' film cameras still feature SEACAM's original screw port system and this is
still fully supported by Seacam as are the housings.
Some of the 'older' housings and all of the new will accept the user interchangable viewfinders built by Seacam - these
offer a stunning view whilst underwater and are unsurpassed as a compositional viewing aid - see below for more
information.
All SEACAM housings are supplied complete with removable handles, anodes, spare 'O' rings, a tool kit, caps and
manual. Options are available including various flash sockets, leak detectors, additional controls, and remote release
connections - use the menu to the left to view these and the viewfinder system.
PLEASE NOTE - SEACAM build housings to their customer's specifications. A few are available from stock but there can
be a delay whilst a housing is built, so most need to be ordered and there will be a probable wait of about 6 weeks
before delivery. They are well worth the wait!
