A 'dead' wall over looked by a restaurant has been given trompe l'oeil treatment (trick the eye). Viewed through a window this image can fool the observer quite successfully.

From painted Marble and Wood known to ancient Egyptian and Greeks, Murals perfected by the Pompieans and Renaissance Italians to modern finishes like Distressing and Colourwash. These finishes have their fashions but are constantly developing to suit the time. Colourwashes with their abstract appeal, when applied boldly for an Irish pub or with subtlety to give a soft chic feel to a domestic interior or multiple distressed finishes which rely on visually textural qualities as much as colour for their interest and impart a sharp sophisticated effect for an office boardroom or reception feature wall.
