Invitation to Dance -Albuquerque, Phoenix, Denver
| Description | : | Where the Black Lilies Grow Series. This piece was inspired by my favorite actress DJ stage name "Daisy jane Outlaw" a short film produced by Kids on Coffee named Albuquerque, Denver, Phoenix was the beginning of this sculpt. Time got away and it evolved into a style of Rockabilly, dancing and a love for the 30's, 40's and 50's. Living once with no intimidation is met in expression of fashion by this actress.
This fine art doll by the Gentle Whisper Collection is of polymerclay with Aves Apoxie clay on the shoes for dancing durability. Frabric dipped and then a metal coating of bronze with patina. Notice the three invitations and the dasies on the bench. A decision has to be made as the invatations are all on the same day, just different times. Enough to create madness, but this is Daisy and she is about to decide she can make them all if she foregoes changing her shoes. Of course she will change her outfits. |
