Sunflites are creations born of need. They are many, though different are alike. The borders of enchantment where they live always is in twilight, never sunny, nor never dark. Needing the sun to make life worth living Sunflites were created. They fly to the middle of enchantment to the highest mountain and soak up the sun. When they are so full they can hardly fly, back they go to the borders to share the light with the land and all the other characters living in twilight(the sun they share also helps grow food so they are never hungry).
This is a fine art sculpted torso of polymer clay. All Waires costumes are made from ordinary and cast off materials. This makes them extraordinary. Jute strings, abundant feathers of the pheasant, rejected bases made of candlestick holders and leftover yarns create this OOAK fine art doll by Caroline A. Babbitt. The wings are extraordinarily by Ferdinand's Farm. There will be many of this series. Sunflite II recently finished and can be viewed at Forever Southwest. Sunflite I contact Caroline.
