The past thirty-four years living in the mountains of Big Bear Lake, California, with natures beauty at its best, gives me the inspiration to try  and project that beauty onto my husbands left over saw blades and handsaws.  This is also a way for me to help and recycle for our ecosystem. Painting in oils has been a life long passion, so I taught myself the art  of painting landscapes on handsaws and saw blades. I try to capture the
colors and uniqueness of the photograph taken.

These new boxes of today have a connection with their ancestors of Europe. Everything was stored throughout the homestead in boxes. And today we continue to want the boxes to be functional and decorative. They are made with pride and old fashion craftsmanship. They are the boxes of today and tomorrows antiques. Each box has its own unique stenciled design that is an extension of Carole's love of folk art and she wishes to share this with others. Thank you for collecting our boxes year after year

Dianes true love has always been crafts and the arts. She is an accomplished seamstress with thirty six years experience. She has since advanced to high end sewing machines with embroidery capabilities. Along with hand knitting, machine knitting, crocheting, country crafts and wood projects, she has now found her "niche" in painting. Diane is a member of the National Society of Decorative Painters and is the 2001 secretary for The White Mountain Decorative Painters Guild. Her love of painting shows in her quality and her attention to detail. Her favorite medium is acrylics though she still enjoys watercolor painting and the amazing results of colored pencil. Shes dabbling with pastels and oils but is always drawn back to acrylics. She is self taught but is constantly taking painting classes, seminars and attends Society of Decorative Painters painting conventions whenever possible to learn more and new techniques.
