Yolanda retired from the interior decorating business in 1998. Since
then she has been knitting for her family and acquaintances. She is
currently looking for a boutique or gallery to show and sell her
knitwear.
Yolanda's expertise is in machine weaving and boiled wool fiber. Some of
her garments are embellished with ribbon embroidery and bead work. She
works mostly with natural fibers but also uses some combination fibers
such as Acrylic/Mohair blends. Her creations are of a variety of styles,
but all of her creations are one of a kind in color and or texture. At
times fabrics such as tapestry are combined with the knitted garment.
