Janet Mason marine artist does Lunenburg artworks in oil, acrylic and watercolors. Since 1976, she's dedicated herself to Nova Scotia paintings.
Janet's Nova Scotia roots run deeply in Lunenburg and nearby Stonehurst - she paints their rugged coastlines, tranquil inlets and beautiful flora. For three decades, she's preserved the local architecture and quaint beauty through her paintings.
She's always been a dreamer and loves sitting among the quiet grasses of the pathways, pausing to smell the flowers and enjoy the ensuing feelings of nostalgia. Janet's had several solo exhibitions and many joint exhibitions during her career in art. Her work can be found in private collections throughout Canada, United States and Europe.
