My most recent works focus on feminine archetypes. I believe
archetypes of transformation within art are of basic importance in helping people understand how to become the individuals they are meant to be. It is my purpose then to create art that leads us to
reevaluate, reorient and reorder our priorities for the renewal of our own souls. I think the inability or unwillingness to recognize the vitality of the
inner world is our modern worlds most serious loss and greatest challenge. Please click on image to view more of her illustrations and find out how she does them

From the German Romantic landscapes of Friedrich, to the Scientific Naturalism of American, Audubon, Russian, Tatyana Kuznetsova recalls the academic tradition of painting infused with her own sense of reality. A native of Russia, Tatyana Kuznetsova now lives and works in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Her diverse range of media includes oil, pastel, tempera, and gouache. Stylistically, her work ranges from realism to romantic symbolism, and surrealism. She approaches each painting as a living organism and introduces to each an individual sense of mood and narrative. She accomplishes this transference through careful and deliberate consideration of composition; the interaction of light and shadow, choice of color, and overall design of the canvas, principles drawn upon from her academic training and experience in graphic design. The results are eloquent compositions of harmonious line and color that have won her recognition and awards. Her works have been exhibited both regionally and internationally.
