All of my artwork is produced during contemplative meditation. In the right state of mind, visions will appear before me and within me, on the canvas or paper as well as on the screen of my inner sight. I paint what I see with my heart. I know that I am on the right track when the sensation of childlike wonder, inner excitement and the feeling of freedom engulfs me. It is vitally important at this time to completely set aside my ego's critical judgement, so that I may for a moment, step outside of myself and with an open heart and an open mind, allow the spirit to flow freely. It is an amazing journey that seems to have connected with other people as well
If one can truly connect with the spirit of the painting, it results in ones own creative energy being drawn to the surface. The only thing greater than experiencing the internal flow of creative spirit moving through me, is when that same spirit touches someone else through a connection with one of my paintings, inspiring them to express their own creativity in their own individual way. I present my art as original paintings, art cards and meditation cards. I hope that you enjoy what you see in my studios. Please note that if you go through the paintings individually, you may scroll down to read the write ups that I have included with many of the images......... With warm wishes Pam |

I
remember see the film " Born Free " and realizing
I had to paint these big cats. I have made it my
life's work to show these beauties not as the wild savage
beast but to showcase their beauty and their intelligence.
To show them as they grace our earth and teach us the
importance of respect and personal dignity.
Look into their eyes and get a sense of
profound wisdom therein contained and perhaps a glimpse of
the universal soul.
I
have been reduced to tears on occasion when I have experienced
the gentleness they are capable of when sharing their
friendship with humans or other creatures..
